It was an amazing meeting with experts in the fields of Microcurrent, ozone therapy and light therapy. The focus on the meeting was utilizing ozone and I want to share with you a way you can get started on using this wonderful modality to improve your health and vision
What is ozone? Ozone is a highly reactive form of oxygen that stimulates an oxidative reaction in the body which causes profound beneficial effects. Frank Schallenberg states that if Ozone was a big Pharma drug it would be the leading selling drug in the world!
Inactivation of bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa:
Ozone therapy disrupts the integrity of the bacterial cell envelope through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins.
In fungi, O3 inhibits cell growth at certain stages
With viruses, the O3 damages the viral capsid and upsets the reproductive cycle by disrupting the virus-to-cell contact with peroxidation.
Stimulation of oxygen metabolism:
Ozone therapy causes an increase in the red blood cell glycolysis rate. This leads to the stimulation of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate which leads to an increase in the amount of oxygen released to the tissues.
Ozone activates the Krebs cycle by enhancing oxidative carboxylation of pyruvate, stimulating production of ATP. It also causes a significant reduction in NADH and helps to oxidize cytochrome C.
Activation of the immune system:
Ozone administered at a concentration of between 30 and 55 μg/cc causes the greatest increase in the production of interferon and the greatest output of tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-2.
There are many methods of administering Ozone. It was felt that major auto-hemotherapy was the best method. This is a technique where a small amount of blood is removed , mixed with ozone and then re-administered back into the person.
Another method, which has been shown to stimulate the immune system, is minor auto-hemotherapy. A small amount to blood is removed and it is mixed with ozone. This mixture is then administer subcutaneous (under the skin) or Intra- muscularly
The last method is DIV or direct intravenous ozone. This is a method of administering ozone gas directly into the vein. This is a controversial method but it has been reported very effective in treating serve life threatening conditions. Dr. Robert Rowen reported several cases of metastatic melanoma ( very low survival rate) cured by using the DIV method
It is a general consensus in the alternative medical community that ozone therapy has a very positive roll in the treatment of macular degeneration and glaucoma. I presented my experience in using ozone at the World Congress on Ozone in Rome Italy September 2013,
Dr Silvia Mendenez from Cuba probably has the greatest experience in using ozone in the treatment of eye disorders. Why Cuba? Fidel Castro became interested in the use of ozone in treating chronic disease and he donated millions of dollars to a the Hospital Carlos J. Finlay Hospital that specializes in ozone treatments.
Dr Silvia Mendenez reported her results treating hundreds of patients with chronic eye disease using ozone. The interesting part of this story is that they primarily use ozone administered rectally. Menendez Research
Another way of administering ozone, which I have great interest, is rectal Insufflation. Dr Rowen, one of the top ozone experts in the US, recently made a comment that rectal insufflation is a method that every one with a chronic disease should learn to use. I like therapies that empower patients . Once you invest in the ozone equipment and are trained the the cost of doing daily treatments amount to pennies a day. I also like this treatment since you are not dependent on a doctors office. The treatments can be done at home.
Is it as effective as the other therapies? It is probably not as effective as the DIV or Major Auto-hemotherapy but for most chronic disease it is one of the best treatments you can do on a daily basis.
