Dr. Kleinbloesem and Dr. Kondrot at the Stem Cell Center in Germany

I spent 2 weeks in Europe this month- Running the Marathon du Medoc in the south of France, getting married in Venice, visiting Germany’s largest Stem Cell center and presenting a paper at the International Light Association in Amsterdam. The first leg of my European trip was the Marathon du Medoc. This marathon (26.2 miles) is a little different since you run from one Wine Chateau to another and you must wear a costume! Of course the French have wine at each water stop!

The 2nd part of the trip was my wedding in Venice! We selected the most romantic city in the world and I serenaded my bride Miss Ly Truong with 3 violin pieces on a gondola!

The 3rd leg of my trip was a visit to the XCell Stem Cell Center in Germany. This is one of the largest and most successful stem cell centers in Europe. My goal was to find out the latest treatment for eye disease.

The last leg of my trip was presenting a paper at the International light Association meeting in Amsterdam- Syntonic Light Therapy in the Treatment of Glaucoma 

A very impressive talk at the ILA was by Dr. Abraham Haim on light Pollution. Read how this is increasing cancer, heart disease, obesity and eye disease!
